Liz Garber, M.Ed., CCSP

Hello! My name is Liz Garber, and I am the founder of Lighthouse CEC. Lighthouse CEC was created for the purpose of helping guide YOU in a more fulfilling direction so you can achieve your goals. In order for you to trust me with this monumental task, I think it is important you know what I bring to the table.

Education, in all shapes and forms, has been my passion since I was a kid. I have spent over a decade working in higher education, as an instructor, advisor, and specialist in academic support services. During that time, I worked as the head of the disability services department, and spent years creating accommodation plans for individuals with disabilities. My one and only aim during my time in higher education was to help my students achieve success by understanding their skills and equipping them with the tools they need to reach their goals. I am also a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) through the National Career Development Association (NCDA). I pride myself in being able to help others find their purpose in life, by using a variety of practical skills in a caring and exploratory environment.

EVERYONE has a unique set of innate abilities that bring value to the workforce, but sometimes it takes a little light to guide you in the right direction! Let me be that light for you!
